Capgemini is seeking a Director level executive to provide oversight and future direction for the Guidewire capability unit within the Financial Services business unit.Location: Hyderabad / Chennai / Kolkata / Bangalore preferredKey Responsibilities:Comprehend the client's vision, requirements, and project scope, and develop tailored solutions utilizing Guidewire productsAssume full accountability for the technical solution, ensuring alignment with business needs throughout the project lifecycleDevise integration solutions for third-party systems based on client specificationsEvaluate the existing architecture and collaborate with the technical team to propose enhancementsAid technical teams in troubleshooting technical issues as they ariseProvide supervision and guidance to development teamsPerform code reviews as neededCommunicate any technical solution issues to relevant stakeholdersAssess the business impact of technical decisions
Primary Skill
s15-20 years of experience in IT, preferably Insurance domain with 10 years on COTS products including but not limited to Guidewire. Candidate must have a strong architectural track record and demonstrated the successful execution of large-scale Guidewire transformation programs. A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.Collaborate with Business Architects and Enterprise Architects during design workshops, taking the lead when necessaryWork closely with Guidewire practice leads across different regions and senior client/Capgemini stakeholdersUnderstand the Enterprise Review Board and Change Approval Board processes for various types of change requestsParticipate in Design Review Board meetings and review Architecture artifacts and deliverablesPossess a strong understanding of GOSU from a coding perspectiveInteract with Guidewire Product Support team as needed to resolve issuesLead discussions with clients’ CxOs/VPs of Tier-1 insurance carriers regarding Guidewire architecture and technologyAssist in client visits by showcasing significant architectural accomplishments and sharing experiences from Guidewire projectsProactively engage with Solution Leads and bid teams to secure major dealsLead, mentor, and support practice members in Guidewire deals qualification, solutioning, and estimations
